Position: 2024-2025 School Psychologist Internship

Purpose:
Under general supervision of a qualified school psychologist supervisor, the school psychologist intern assists in ensuring that the district’s vision and mission are achieved through the provision of a wide range of services to promote academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health functioning for students with and without disabilities. The school psychologist intern, working in close collaboration with the school psychologist supervisor, will coordinate and consult with parents, teachers, administrators, external agencies, multidisciplinary IEP teams, Section 504 teams, and MTSS/intervention teams to select and monitor interventions, develop appropriate instructional goals and objectives, recommend accommodations and/or modifications, and assist in the planning of appropriate educational programming to meet the needs of students with their assigned schools.

 

Supervisor: Director of Special Services
Salary: Based on Board-approved salary scale (190-day contract)
Location: District Office
